Hanseatic Roots, Global Reach – BAADER Among the Five Finalists of the First Hansa Export Award

At the 46th International Hanseatic Day in Stargard, the first-ever Hansa Export Award was presented. BAADER was among the five finalists – nominated by the Hanseatic Cities of Lübeck and Doesburg. A recognition that mirrors what BAADER has embodied for more than a century: local roots and international partnership.

The first Hansa Export Award was presented at the Hanseatic Business Forum during the 46th International Hanseatic Day in Stargard – and BAADER was part of it. The BAADER Group was among the five finalists selected by an international jury from nominations submitted by Hanseatic member cities. Each city was able to nominate one company; BAADER received the nomination from the Hanseatic Cities of Lübeck / Germany and from Doesburg / Netherlands. The award recognises companies from the Hanseatic network for innovation, growth and outstanding achievements in international trade. The five finalists presented themselves to the audience at the Hanseatic Business Forum with a short video and an elevator pitch. BAADER warmly congratulates the winner – the Polish company TZMO Group from Toruń – of this inaugural award.

"For BAADER, being part of the shortlist is a strong signal. We have been rooted in Lübeck for more than 100 years and are active around the world. Our teams in Lübeck, Doesburg, Hamburg and many other locations stand for technology, cooperation and international partnership. This is exactly the spirit that connects BAADER with the Hanseatic tradition." Matthias Hoffmann, CTO of the BAADER Group.

Being shortlisted among the final five is more than an accolade. It is an acknowledgement of the way BAADER approaches its work: technology built in Europe, partnerships maintained around the world, and a long-term commitment to the customers and industries it serves. BAADER develops and produces solutions for the industrial processing of fish and poultry – supporting the global food industry in becoming more efficient, more sustainable and more reliable.

For BAADER, export has always meant more than serving international markets. It means building trust, sharing expertise and developing long-term partnerships. The Hansa Export Award nomination underlines that this approach – local roots, international openness, technological innovation and close customer partnership – resonates well beyond its home markets.

Hansa Export Finalist Award

BAADER thanks the Mayors of the Hanseatic Cities of Lübeck and Doesburg for the nomination, and the organisers in Stargard for hosting the first Hansa Export Award.
