Icelandic salmon farmer LAXEY signed an agreement with BAADER Ísland for processing equipment for a land-based aquaculture facility in Vestmannaeyjar.

Iceland’s land-based aquaculture sector is significantly growing. Now, LAXEY, one of the key players in sustainable salmon farming on Iceland, has signed an agreement with BAADER to supply equipment for their primary processing in Vestmannaeyjar. This marks a major step forward for both companies and the Icelandic aquaculture market as a whole.

Due to water circulation in which the water gets filtered while the waste can be reused, for example as fertilizer, a stable water quality is ensured.
