In his session he presents BAADER’s Whitefish Portfolio and it’s role in shaping the future of whitfish processing – from traditional handcrafting to fully automated solutions.   Before Finn travelled to Bergen, we had the opportunity to ask him a few questions about his presentation and his views on the NASF.

Finn, as Product Manager, you are part of the BAADER speaker team at NASF. What is the focus of your presentation?

I will present BAADER’s Whitefish Portfolio and its role in shaping the future of whitefish processing. It spans the journey from traditional handcrafting to intelligent, fully automated solutions, showcasing how digital twins and smart technologies drive efficiency, sustainability, and added value across the entire processing chain.

At BAADER, we have been shaping and developing the industry since 1919. With our focus on close cooperation with producers, our customers, which has been a hallmark of our company from the very beginning, we are constantly motivated to develop new solutions and never stand still.  Through our experience and expertise, but especially through our proximity to our customers, we create long-term, reliable value.

What should we take away as the key message?

BAADER, a family-owned company, is a strong industrial partner. We are committed to finding solutions for our customers. Customers are not just numbers to us. We are accessible and responsive – with a broad international presence – and, thanks to our product portfolio, always interested in the mutual benefits of developments.

What does the NASF mean to you personally?

For me, the North Atlantic Seafood Forum is the perfect place to connect, identify trends and recognise potential needs. The numerous presentations and personal conversations always provide insights that you would definitely have missed out on your desk.
