• Prepare and advise management on the quality and safety policy to be implemented by the company and established by management, considering the quality and safety standards in the countries to which exports are made.
• Monitor developments in (international) regulations and assess their impact on business operations.
• Advise Work Preparation and Production Management on process control systems, error registration systems, and the development of new products and production methods.
• Advise other departments on quality and safety aspects
• Develop, implement, and monitor procedures and standards based on the established quality and safety policy.
• Develop and maintain quality, safety and procedure manuals. 
• Qualifying employees to conduct internal audits both on quality and safety.

• Conducting quality and safety audits at (international) suppliers, registering these assessments on the list of qualified suppliers, and distributing and managing this list.
• Supervising external audits/inspections by customers and representatives of inspection bodies.
• Determining measurement and analysis methods and measuring tools to be used for incoming and final product inspections.
• Evaluating measurement and analysis reports and, in cases of doubt, having measurements verified.
• Deciding on the approval or rejection of products.
• Managing all measuring tools used within the company.
• Ensuring periodic calibration.
• Inspecting returned final products and handling these in the event of a complaint or repair.
• Improving the overall Safety awareness (updating RI&E and Plan of Action)

An effective QESH Manager requires a combination of technical, analytical, and interpersonal skills:

Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to assess risks and resolve issues 

• HBO-WO, preferred with an education on “Hogere Veiligheidskunde” 
• Leadership and coaching skills to drive QESH initiatives and motivate teams 
• Communication and influencing skills 
• Regulatory expertise in ISO standards, HACCP, BRC, IFS, FSMA, ARBO, and SHE legislation 
• Operational and strategic thinking 
• Technological proficiency, including QESH management software and standard office tools 

For this challenging new position, we offer a strategic and self-responsive job with great responsibilities and space for growth. The salary range is between €4.500 and € 6.500 depending on experience in a similar position. You will be reporting directly to the Managing Director of BAADER Doesburg.
