Satisfy the Increasing Need for More Convenience
Consumer patterns are changing rapidly to fit busy lifestyles. Eating on the run or multitasking while eating has become normal, and fast food or convenience meals play an important role in modern lives. Furthermore, the recent COVID-19 outbreak resulted in a higher demand for off-premise eating through takeaway and home deliveries. In the wake of these changed consumer habits, the Quick Service Restaurants (QSR) market has grown significantly and is especially gaining traction among young people. QSR suit perfectly the need for fast food and in a large part of Asia, the QRS market is quickly taking over traditional meals. Therefore, our focus at VIV Asia 2023 will be processing solutions that meet the increasing demand for fast meals.
High Throughput
The popularity of chicken meat is rising. There is a growing wish to balance hectic everyday life with healthy and sustainable meals, and poultry is preferred over other types of meat. Furthermore, poultry benefits from lower prices, attracting consumers struggling with the inflation pressure caused by rapidly rising costs along the supply chain. More importantly, the taste of chicken is popular in most of the world and the meat is easily transformed into tasty snacks and fast food products. To keep up with demand, poultry processors need high line speeds and fully automated processes. At our booth at VIV Asia, we exhibit our highly flexible evisceration solutions that allow a single-line processor to process varying flock sizes and supply multiple markets such as food service and retail.
As the global fast food market grows, poultry processors need to conform to tight food service standards, which requires a best-in-class classification system and highly accurate cuts. The new ClassifEYE 2.0 presented at VIV Asia takes camera monitoring to the next level by using Artificial Intelligence to determine product and processing quality. Using live demos during the exhibition, we will show how the camera detects quality while delivering real-time data on an intuitive dashboard, and our digitalization experts can show you surprising new ways of implementing vision technology throughout processing. High line speeds require fast and automated decision-making and the new vision technology is faster than any human eye and will immediately provide input to sophisticated software algorithms designed for upstream and downstream optimization.
We will also run live demonstrations on a complete food service cut-up line to show the system’s high degree of precision and flexibility. Our cut-up lines are capable of providing specialized food service wing, keel, breast, thigh and drumstick cuts. Specifically, we will show the 10-piece cuts conforming to Jollibee standards.
Finally, yet importantly, we will show you how to recover valuable meat remaining on the carcass or utilize meat affected by growth-related abnormalities for high-quality processed products such as nuggets, sausages or cold cuts to meet the rising demand for convenience food and increase product value. The BAADER Refiner technology protects the meat structure and delivers poultry ground meat with a good appearance and low fat and calcium content.
The rising preference for ready-to-eat food is driving the growth of the global frozen food market. To be ahead of the competition, poultry processors need a flexible freezing solution that protects quality and yield. SKAGINN 3X is a new member of BAADER and an innovative producer of IQF (Individually Quick-Freezing) solutions that fit the requirements of poultry processors focusing on fast product freezing, best product appearance and high yield performance. The SKAGINN 3X experts have extensive knowledge of freezing technology and will be available at our booth to answer all your questions related to freezing.
