The Trio FDS 3000-2 is a multi-species machine for skinning fish fillets of uneven thickness and for recovering dark meat. It is designed to improve skinning results with no reduction in speed and can skin fillets and portions without any loss of yield. No strain is put on either the skin or the flesh, resulting in a great quality fillet and a skinlayer that is customizable to specific requirements.

Besides our wide range of solutions for high-quality seafood processing, our BAADERING technology is an advanced process to gently separate soft and solid components from fish remains. Maximum fish mince recovery allows you to create value-added products such as fish sticks and snacks from the soft components. The remaining solid components can be further recycled and processed into advanced applications such as cosmetics, nutraceuticals, pet food, and many more.

Even today, there are still a lot of fish species cut by hand. Automation is available for most common products only. The majority of small volume species is challenged by high labour costs, risk of contamination and a strong dependency on operator skills.

Automating the splitting process, helps to push productivity and reduce dependency on manual labor. This means the final products become more interesting from a commercial perspective. With a prototype of a splitting machine we are setting a new standard in processing for smaller volume productions.
