EXECUTIVE CHAIRWOMAN

Petra Baader

Petra Baader has been leading BAADER as Executive Chairwoman since 1995. Under her leadership, the company has expanded into the fish and poultry business and successfully established BAADER as a leading provider of food processing solutions. Petra Baader has been honorary consul for Norway since 1996 and has been awarded the Royal Norwegian Order of Merit ‘Knight First-Class’. Petra Baader also sits on the advisory board of several international companies.

Chief Financial Officer

Torsten Krausen

Torsten Krausen has been a Managing Director at BAADER since 2009. His background in private equity and corporate finance contributes to the company’s continued solidity. He oversees Finance, Legal, IT, Purchasing and Mergers & Acquisitions. Knowing how to combine his numerical approach with his visionary leadership, he is a trusted partner both for financial stakeholders and BAADER colleagues from all business areas.

Dr Norbert Engberg

Dr Norbert Engberg studied Mathematics and Economics in Hamburg. Before joining BAADER in 2019, he worked as a Managing Director in the food industry. He merged and reorganized companies, built up sales structures and implemented brands. Furthermore, he focused on efficiency and innovation in production. Being responsible for food processing teaches many perspectives. Dr Norbert Engberg has now found his passion in bringing his knowledge to solution development at BAADER.

Robert Focke

Robert Focke has held a management position at BAADER since 1998. Prior to being announced Managing Director, he was Head of Human Resources and Commercial Director. Next to his dedication to the business of offering fish processing solutions, he is voluntarily engaged as Vice President of the Northern German employer association and serves as an honorary judge at the State Labour Court.

Our most important brand has enjoyed over 100 years of success and goes back to the company’s founding father’s name Rudolf Baader. Today his name represents the company’s overall umbrella brand that has a unique standing in the global fish industry and is renowned for reliable and state-of-the-art solutions.

EMYDEX

EMYDEX was founded in 2004 in Ireland and has since expanded into an international leader in the provision of scalable Manufacturing Execution System (MES) software for the food processing sector. Combining the strengths of both companies will mean enhanced digital capabilities for BAADER and accelerated growth and market reach for EMYDEX.

SEAC is a leading brand of fish processing machinery for pelagic and whitefish of small sizes that rounded the BAADER fish portfolio when the company joined BAADER in 2021. Machines are designed for automatic feeding, nobbing, heading, gutting and tailing fillets as well as belly-cleaning of pelagic fish.

TRIO

TRIO stands for cost-efficient solutions for the deep skinning and skinning of soft fish fillets as well as pin boning technology for salmon and trout. The brand’s offerings are completely integrated into the BAADER Fish product portfolio and are also available as stand-alone products.

LINCO

Poultry processors around the world have been trusting LINCO solutions for over 75 years. Technology, service and competence have been part of BAADER since 2007 and while the BAADER brand within the poultry industry is getting stronger, the LINCO heritage persists in our latest offerings and new developments.

What started with the novel idea of founding father Rudolf Baader offering mechanically processed fish fillets more than 100 years ago developed into a global company that spans cross-industries, fish, meat and poultry processing as well as software and digital solutions as a major player in the industry.
